Live setup
I have been working on this instrument since 2014, as an attempt to have a satisfactory piano sound when the acoustic instrument was not present in a venue. The initial idea rapidly evolved towards a pianos+synths+effects+loopers workstation.
The design guidelines are tailored to my specific needs:

Keyboard based,

Each parameter is bound to an individual physical controller,

The laptop is not used as a physical controller, only (rarely) as a visual reference for the presets.
The instrument is constantly evolving. In particular, the next version will have an improved portability with the realisation of a smaller prototype and a computer embedded in the instrument. Touch screens will provide visual reference and additional control of the loopers.
